Where do practically all U.S. government income and wealth originates, 3 percent or less of the U.S. population can give the correct answer. You will get answers like all kinds of taxes, licenses, fees, tariffs, or whatever, which all will be wrong. Right answer: Directly or indirectly practically all of government income originates from some form of private U.S. business profit, period. The old folks used to always say; the biggest fool of all is
an educated fool. And adding my opinion I think anyone that thinks a college
diploma is a must to reach the pinnacle of success in today’s world is a fool.
Sure, it is an advantage to have a college diploma, nobody can deny that. Plus, in certain medical and technical fields especially the S.T.E.M fields (science, technology,
engineering, and mathematics) its true a college diploma is a must. But, other
than that it’s not that big of a deal, and even the technical skills needed
can be hired when one has the money and knows what he wants. Two of the
greatest computer pioneers to ever exist were not engineers, but they knew what
they wanted and got it. Enough said.
SIRMANS LOG: 25 MAY 2015, 1513 HOURS WESTERN THINKING VERSUS MIDDLE EAST REALITY:
OK, I’m going to make a
very brief statement on what I think is military common sense. In every
military war or conflict there are going to be people wanting to desert or run
away. I think in every army it is a death sentence to desert during time of
Now, that being said, it takes cold harsh brutal discipline in many cases to
make the odds of surviving better fighting the enemy than running away. Many
armies have used divisions behind the line to shoot on sight anyone running
back to safety.
I believe in certain parts of the world with many tribal and
other factions only a strongman can do what it takes to make his army fight
instead of running away. And until the west realizes this fact the whole thing
is an exercise in futility in my view.
That is my one man’s opinion; I said the
same thing during the Iraq war and haven’t seen noting since to change my mind. However, crying over spilt milk concerning the Iraq war serves
no useful purpose and is a sign of irresponsibility and weakness.
